August brings higher Illinois home prices, lower sales amid tight inventory
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The summer’s competitive housing market extended through August with lower seasonal inventory driving home prices higher, but tempering total home sales, according to Illinois REALTORS®. Building Affordable Housing for Families in the Bronx
New Destiny Housing Corporation, a non-profit developer of affordable housing for families, has started construction on its newest mixed income housing project – The Jennings, located on Jennings Street in the Crotona Park East section of the Bronx. The Jennings will be an eight-story building with 42 apartments affordable for low-income households from the community with 23 apartments reserved for families coming from New York City domestic violence shelters. Project completion is expected in spring 2019.
