Juneau, AL – April 15, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Governor Sean Parnell today welcomed the passage of SB 217, legislation that will allow voters in the 2010 general election to approve $600 million of state-guaranteed bonds for the purchase of mortgage loans made to qualifying military veterans. The bonds would be issued by the Alaska Housing Finance orporation. Governor Parnell has encouraged members of the armed services stationed in the state to consider permanent residency after their discharge.
