Brown Announces Nearly $197,000, $425,000, $430,000 and More Than $55,000 in New Federal Funds to Provide Housing Assistance

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced new federal funding to provide rental assistance paired with clinical services for homeless veterans in the Columbus area as part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) voucher program. The Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority will receive $309,342 and the Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority will receive $115,320. Brown is ranking member of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
