Whitfield Ushers Common-SENSE Solution to Coal Refuse

U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-01), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power, led the charge on the House Floor today ahead of his vote in support of H.R. 3797, the Satisfying Energy Needs and Saving the Environment (SENSE) Act. This bill would make limited adjustments to EPA rules to ensure that the coal refuse-to-energy industry continues its vital mission of providing affordable energy and remediating formerly-polluted sites across coal producing regions
