August 11, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- New research funded by MacArthur and carried out by the Urban Institute suggests that families that moved from Chicago’s Madden/Wells public housing community, as part of the city’s plan to transform public housing, now live in better housing and safer neighborhoods. But, the report says, poor health is keeping many out of the workforce.
