Colombians Continue to Register Most South Florida Real Estate Searches
Colombia continues to be the top foreign country searching for South Florida real estate on the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) website, according to new statistics from the nation’s largest local Realtor group. Colombia registered 10.2 percent of all international searches on MIAMI’s portal, www.MiamiRealtors.com, in July 2017.

San Diego Supporters Urge California Lawmakers to Pass SB 100 for 100 Percent Clean...
San Diego supporters representing the faith, environmental, clean tech, business and labor communities gathered today to urge passage of Senate Bill 100 (SB 100), which will ensure that California generates 100 percent of its electricity from clean energy sources by 2045. The statewide bill, introduced by California Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin De León, comes two years after San Diego made a legally-binding commitment to achieve 100 percent clean energy by 2035.

Fla. Housing Market: More Sales, Higher Median Prices in July 2017
Just like the weather, Florida’s housing market was hot in July with more closed sales, higher median prices, increased pending sales and more new listings, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Sales of single-family homes statewide totaled 24,546 last month, up 2 percent compared to July 2016.
Illinois home prices show solid gains in July; Sales decline
Illinois homes sold faster and for more money in July, but lower housing inventory drove year-over-year sales lower, according to Illinois REALTORS®. Statewide home sales (including single-family homes and condominiums) in July 2017 totaled 15,677 homes sold, down 4.3 percent from 16,375 in July 2016.
Central Ohio Housing Report – July 2017
Central Ohio housing inventory continued to increase during the month of July to 5,498, an 8.3 percent increase over June, although still down 14.1 percent from July 2016. This left central Ohio with a 2.0 months supply of inventory at the current sales pace, according to the Columbus REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service.

The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) will again promote South Florida’s lifestyle and real estate market at Colombia’s largest property showcase, El XII Gran Salón Inmobiliario – Feria Internacional, on Aug. 24-27 in Bogotá, Colombia. Memphis-area home sales for July increased 4.5 percent from a year ago, with 1,747 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®MAARdata property records database. Sales were down 7.4 percent from June when there were 1,887 total sales. Average sales price from July-to-July was down 0.7 percent, at $180,432. Inventory increased 0.8 percent, with 4,815 units listed for sale. Year-to-Date sales volume was up 12.7 percent at $1.86 billion.

Mass. July Pending Home Sales Down for the First Time in Over Two Years
The Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) reported today that single-family pending home sales fell almost six percent in July from last year. Pending condominium sales were also down more than 10 percent. The median price for both single-family homes and condos saw a hike over last year, with the single-family median price rising over the $400,000 mark for the second month in the row. Realtors® confidence in the market and in home prices were both up in July after a dip in June.

Miami’s single-family home market continued its strong selling pace by registering its second-most June transactions in history, and the $1 million-plus luxury sales segment rose for both single-family homes and condominiums, according to a new report by the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) and the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) system.
North Shore and Barrington Area Housing Market Show Growth
As the second quarter of 2017 ends, the North Shore-Barrington housing market shows an increase in new listings, median and average sales prices. Massachusetts Median Home Prices Cross the $400,000 Threshold for the First Time
The Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) reported today that the median price for a single-family home hit an all-time high and went over $400,000 for the first time. Both single-family homes and condominiums saw a drop in sales in June from last year. Inventory also reached the lowest level for the month of June since MAR began recording the data in 2004.
